About the show:
Back by popular demand, The Rocky Horror Show is a wild, irreverent musical full of outrageous characters, electrifying rock music, and jaw-dropping moments. Sweethearts Brad and Janet, stranded in a storm, stumble upon Dr. Frank-N-Furter’s eccentric mansion, where innocence is quickly lost and a night of chaos unfolds. With iconic songs, dazzling dances, and unforgettable surprises, this cult classic is a can’t-miss event!
What to prepare:
Those auditioning will be asked to sing 45 seconds to 1 minute of a song of their choice, an accompanist will be provided, followed by learning a group dance routine.
Important dates:
- Call backs - TBA. We will email anyone we would like to callback via Casting Manager. Call backs will not be publicly posted
- Cast list will be posted by Friday, Sept. 26
- Read thru - Sept. 28
- Rehearsals will be held Sunday (5-7:30 p.m.) & Monday-Thursday (evenings)
- First tech - Oct. 19 (beginning at 1 p.m.)
All those auditioning must be 18 or older.
Character Descriptions
Please note the role of Dr Frank-N-Furter is already cast. All other roles are available.
Brad Majors. Bari-tenor, with a range from Bb2 to G4
Janet Weiss. Mezzo-soprano, with a range from A3 to Eb5
Riff Raff. A high rock tenor, with a range from D3 to B4, requiring strong rock vocals
Magenta. A mezzo-soprano, with a range from Bb3 to Eb5
Columbia. Mezzo-soprano with a range from E4 to E5
Rocky. Tenor with a range from A3 to G4
Eddie Baritone. with a range from F3 to F#4
Dr. Scott. Baritone, with a range of E3-F#4
The Phantoms. The ensemble
