Youth Troupe classes, camps, and shows are designed to ignite each child’s passion for the performing arts, foster creativity and self-expression, and build confidence and communication skills. Of course, students also make new friends and learn new skills in a supportive, fun environment. Through the school year we offer after-school opportunities for elementary and middle school age students. In the summer we expand our programming to include high school students. Scholarships are available!

In this exciting acting class, we’re going to use our voices, our bodies, and our creativity to bring all kinds of characters and stories to life. Whether you’ve been performing for years or this is your first time on the “stage,” everyone has a story to tell—and we can’t wait to hear yours!
Each week, students will spend half the class with Lauren Theissen, exploring the world of musical theatre—learning songs, dances, and how to express emotion through music. The other half will be with Emily Giles, where you’ll build core performance skills like improvisation, character creation, stage presence, and storytelling.
This is a place to try new things, be bold, be silly, and grow your confidence while having a blast. So grab your imaginary sword, crown, cape—or microphone—and get ready to join the Storytellers Society, where drama is always welcome!
