
Youth Troupe classes, camps, and shows are designed to ignite each child’s passion for the performing arts, foster creativity and self-expression, and build confidence and communication skills. Of course, students also make new friends and learn new skills in a supportive, fun environment. Through the school year we offer after-school opportunities for elementary and middle school age students. In the summer we expand our programming to include high school students. Scholarships are available!

Between the Lines - High/Middle School Summer Musical

Description: Between the Lines is an empowering musical about finding your place in the world. When Delilah moves to a new town, she escapes into her favorite book — where Prince Oliver seems to understand her. But as fantasy and reality blur, she discovers her own story is just as powerful.
Rehearsals begin June 1 from noon- 4 pm. Performances will be on Friday, June 26 at 7:00 and Saturday, June 27 at 2:30 pm and 7:00 pm
Auditions will be held on Tuesday, April 21 at 7:00 pm with call-backs Wednesday, April 22 at 7 pm.
If you ONLY want to be considered for ensemble and don't want to sing alone, please show up at 7:00 for an ensemble call.
If you want to be considered for a leading role or solo singing role, please call our box office to sign up for an audition time. The box office number is 785-843-7469. Time slots are in 5 minute increments beginning at 7:30 pm. Students should prepare an audition song (16-32 measures) to sing. We will provide an accompanist. Musicals with a similar pop musical sound include Dear Evan Hansen, Freaky Friday, Mean Girls, The Prom, Waitress. For our younger actors, you might consider one of these songs- Part of Your World, Tomorrow, Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Popular, Good Morning Baltimore

There will also be three dance calls that evening, so people auditioning should plan to attend one of those. They will be held at 7:00 pm, 7:30 pm, 8:00 pm, and 8:30 pm. If you are auditioning for ENSEMBLE only, plan to attend the 7:30 dance call immediately following the 7:00 Ensemble call.

Join us for the fifth production in our Princess & Prince Camp series—where everyone gets a part, lines to shine with, and of course, a crown. With laughter, teamwork, and a little theatrical magic, we’ll create a royally unforgettable performance. After all… what could be better than that?
