Spotlight Community Events
Special events and offerings that are produced in collaboration with Theatre Lawrence by outside groups
Theatre Lawrence is a true community asset. When possible, we will collaborate with other community organizations to present events in our facility. Such partnerships include The Lawrence Opera Theatre for their annual performances, and the City of Lawrence for the biennial Phoenix Awards. We are proud to help shine the spotlight on these special events.

A Collaboration with Bicycle Face Productions
Fully staged short plays and monologues by local playwrights. This event grew out of the success of our Playwrights Lab.

Louise ImMasche Celebration Tour Cabaret
A special tribute to Louise ImMasche featuring their music and art, along with the the music and art that inspired them.
This event is a showcase of a small part of what makes life so large. This is a pay-what-you-choose general admission event

Fire Messiah
Join local artists for a staged reading of Fire Messiah: A Community Musical of Miracles, a bold new musical by Ric Averill and Company being developed here in Lawrence
