Madeline Shelton

Maddie has been dancing since she was 2 years old and started choreographing / teaching when she was 16. She went to Purdue University where she was the president of Higher Ground Dance Company and was heavily involved in their dance division. Maddie has taught tap, ballet, jazz, and musical theatre classes for all age ranges at West Active, Turning Pointe Dance Academy, Versa5, and BAM. She has also choreographed tap, musical theatre, and ballet pieces for competition. Outside of the studio, Maddie has choreographed for Noblesville High School Show Choirs, Summer Place Theatre, and Spotlight Arts Collective. Her musical theatre choreography credits include West Side Story, Legally Blonde, Shrek, and The Little Mermaid. When Maddie isn’t teaching, she loves to be on stage! You could have seen her most recently at Theatre Lawrence in Rocky Horror as a Phantom and White Christmas as Rita. Tap is her favorite style of dance and she is so excited to share that love with all of you!
